We taught the kids positive affirmations to repeat every day, based on a book produced by our partner Educate to empower. These kids were fast learners and we couldn’t be prouder! This experience turned out to be even more special because the Child Guide staff were so grateful that we would take the time to share such essential knowledge and practice to street kids.
We exchanged knowledge with each other and learned more deeply about emotional abuse itself, how to detect it, its consequences, and how to react to this scourge that plagues the empowerment of women. Thank you for having us Go Women Project!
Here at Omena, we believe that everyone should know how important self-love is, and it doesn’t hurt to start them young! We hope that these happy kids will make your day!
