In Madagascar, an estimated 77% of children experience emotional abuse while growing up. Yet most systems focus on responding after violence has already happened.
When emotional skills aren't taught, verbal, emotional, and psychological abuse can become part of everyday life. Those patterns are often passed from one generation to the next.
